Client: Private residence

Based on a comprehensive site analysis and landscape visual appraisal, the landscape proposal has been developed to create an attractive garden space whilst retaining key existing trees within the site and existing boundary vegetation to maintain and improve screening of important views. Existing vegetation is retained where possible and bolstered with additional planting, taking into account sensitive views from neighbours and important views from the castle grounds.

The project includes minimal hard surfacing, a number of new trees and additional boundary planting for further screening and to improve biodiversity. The proposal aims to create a series of ‘garden rooms’ around the proposed building, each space with its own individual character and feel.
